National Ply Wood Travel Nuc

5 Frame Nuc box designed for safe transportation of bees and as an alternative to poly.

  • Re-useable and can be used as a short term Nuc to help get colonies established in their new location before transferring to a hive.
  • A raised vented floor designed to allow the flow of cool air underneath the Nuc to help the bees regulate the temperature during transport and allows multiple boxes to be stacked saving on space.
  • A screw in entrance is used for security and can be removed once the bees are in there new location.

Nucs will come assembled, however for larger orders please get in touch as they can be supplied part flat packed. 

Additional solid metal roof is available but we do not recommend the use during transport.
